Zainabu M. Maulidi

My name is Zainabu Mussa Maulidi, born on November 25, 2003. My educational journey began at Macedonia Nursery and Primary School, followed by secondary school at Rising Star, where I achieved a Division 1 with seven points in the NECTA exams. My subject-wise performance included: Kiswahili – A, English – A, Chemistry – A, Biology – A, Basic Mathematics – A, Civics – A, Geography – A, History – A, Physics – C, and Literature in English – A.z

For my advanced education, I attended Miono High School, pursuing a PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) combination. I earned Division 1 with nine points in my final exams. The breakdown of my performance was: Physics – C, Biology – C, Chemistry – C, BAM – D, and General Studies – E.

I believe I am deserving of this sponsorship not only because of my academic achievements but also because of my passion for tackling an issue that is close to my heart—undetected cardiovascular diseases in underserved communities. My vision is to create a network of cardiovascular screening and treatment centers, especially in rural areas where healthcare is limited. These centers will provide education, early detection, and essential treatment, serving as pillars of hope and health for those in need.

What sets me apart is my unwavering dedication to academic excellence, paired with a deep commitment to making a lasting difference in the lives of others. I am not only pursuing education for personal growth but also to uplift my community and inspire young women to break barriers in STEM fields.
