Arafa Hashim

My Story

Arafa Hashim is a passionate and determined young woman from a rural village of Kibati – Mvomero in Morogogoro region of Tanzania. Raised in a family of peasants, she has always dreamed of becoming an aerospace engineer inspired by her father who is a self taught mechanic. Despite facing financial challenges, Arafa excelled in her studies, finishing at the top of her class in secondary school. Her commitment to education and her desire to make a difference in her community has driven her to pursue higher education in Aerospace Engineering. With sponsorship, Arafa aims to complete her studies and become one of the best female engineers to inspire young ladies in STEM by mentorship and outreach.

How to Sponsor a Student

There are two ways of sponsoring a student.

1. The first way on how to sponsor a student is by viewing the offer letter (acceptance letter) of the student and paying her whole 4 year fees in the respected university bank account as indicated on the acceptance letter. After finalizing the payment, you can send the payment reference on our email: payments@uniaidafrica.org
